Red Gold Men’s rings

Beautiful combination of red and yellow gold

Men’s wedding rings are traditionally quite conservative. Usually a plain flat wedding ring or half round wedding ring. Why men don’t wear fancier wedding rings I am not sure. When it comes to cars and sound equipment men do not hold back – they generally want all the bells and whistles. Perhaps the selection of men’s wedding bands is not great – if I look around I do net see many designs and choices for men’s ring. Even dress rings for men seem boring – and I don’t mean understated or classical – I mean plain boring.

This collection of red gold rings breaks the mold – crafted out of an alloy of copper and pure gold, the rings are combined with yellow gold wedding rings, white gold wedding rings and titanium rings – really stunning looking jewelry for men. Not flash …. and not boring.

Men’s rings and wedding rings in red gold rings and white gold combinations are really good to look at – the hardness of red gold makes the a good option for a mans ring – while harder than yellow gold … and much much harder than white gold – they make the perfect precious metal for wedding bands. While white gold wedding bands are popular amongst woman – men tend to lean towards yellow gold or titanium – if you want a ring that is naturally white, and hard, platinum rings or palladium wedding bands are the answer – if you can afford them. A metal that is now gaining huge popularity is silver – always considered a poor mans metal, it is highly underrated – it is a beautiful metal – relatively in inexpensive, and an easy metal for any gold smith or silver smith to work with. The upside, due to the lower cost of the metal, is that the craftsman can work with heavier and thicker metal – and any man who has worn a cheap, thin wedding ring will know – the ring soon bends out of shape or wears thin. Working with thick silver a man is able to have a wedding band with a solid feel and a thicker shank without breaking the bank. The other great thing about a silver wedding band is that if it is patterned or has engraving, the natural tendency for silver to oxidise in the low lying areas gives you an antique looking ring with character. None of the other precious metals oxidise – and while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea – I certainly appreciate a ring that has depth and feel – only silver will give you that. If you lose your silver wedding ring it won’t be a train smash – the hard part will be telling your wife – not the bank manager. Often chosen, like titanium rings, by active people- paramedics, cyclists, sportsmen and fire fighter due to it;s strength and low cost. A rock climber would be foolish to wear any other metal than titanium or silver. Red gold would be the next choice of a ring for an active man or woman.
